On the 20th, Jinju City held the '2023 Jinju Future Investment Company THANK YOU DAY' event with Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) at the Gyeongnam Jinju Innovation City Complex Innovation Center in Chungmu, to encourage and express gratitude to 17 investment companies that have contributed to the revitalization of the local economy and job creation.

The '2023 Jinju Future Investment Companies THANK YOU DAY' was organized to boost the morale of investment companies that have been actively carrying out business activities through new investments in Jinju City for the past three years and to promote continuous investment activities.

The companies invited to the event are 17 growth investment and promising companies in the bio, aerospace industry, and ceramic materials, including Amicogen ANH Structure Woohyun Shipbuilding Technology Jun Engineering Cas Mirae Air JD Moa Soft Redjin Maximum Corporation Huigero K-Tech System Barotech Energy Hosan JN Air SNS Valve. These companies have signed investment agreements to invest KRW 330 billion and employ 1100 people over the past three years.

In particular, the event also held a tenancy application ceremony where two companies, Jun Engineering Co., Ltd. and JD Co., Ltd. submitted applications to the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation for the sale of a large-scale site of about 10,000 square meters in the Gyeongnam Aviation National Industrial Complex (Jinju District), raising expectations for the activation of future sales in the aviation industrial complex.

This event is of great significance in that for the past four years, Jinju has hired experienced private experts in business strategy and external cooperation from large companies to establish policies to support incentives for business attraction, as well as to propose investments with a strategic approach from the initial attraction activities such as contacting target companies, and has stably attracted companies so far.

On this day, Jinju City Mayor Cho Kyu-il said, "Corporate investment is a key factor in securing our city's future self-sufficiency and competitiveness." "We are grateful for the investment and will continue to actively work to lead the investment of many companies in the region by concentrating our administrative power so that we can overcome the economic recession and revitalize job creation.“

Meanwhile, the city strived to attract companies by establishing a corporate attraction team in the 7th civil election amid intense competition among local governments, and reorganized into an aerospace business team after the 8th term to strengthen its work to attract promising companies related to local strategic industries.

In addition, in September, the city revised the 'Ordinance on Business and Investment Promotion in Jinju City' to provide customized support incentives for new and expanded investments and relocation of invested companies to the city, securing the best investment incentives in the country.
