Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology announced on the 14th that it signed an MOU with the Gyeongnam Venture Business Association in the conference room on the 9th floor of the university headquarters.


Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology President Kim Nam-kyung, Ik-jin Kim, CEO of iNTECO, Heung-soo Park, CEO of HaunTech, Jeon Seon-jin, CEO of Jun Engineering, Suk Wook-min, CEO of IPCamp, Park Joong-gun, CEO of JD Engineering, Lee Yong-ju, CEO of Sungjin Tech, and Hwang Jung-sik, CEO of Barun Hwangto attended the signing ceremony.


The Gyeongnam Venture Business Association started as the Gyeongnam Branch of the Venture Business Association in 1996 and officially launched as the Gyeongnam Venture Business Association in 2008.

The association, which has a total of 640 member companies, including five companies with sales of more than 100 billion won, 19 companies with sales of more than 50 billion won, and 77 companies with sales of more than 20 billion won, is conducting active activities such as supporting local venture companies to strengthen their capabilities to respond to changes in the business environment at home and abroad, recommending funds from financial institutions to strengthen member companies' competitiveness, and solving corporate difficulties through experts in each field.

 

"The excellent members of the Gyeongnam Venture Business Association are companies that our students want to work for," said President Kim Nam-kyung. "We will strive to foster talent worthy of the association's excellent members through the establishment of the Job Startup Center, which is currently underway."

 

Chairman Kim Ik-jin responded, "Through this agreement, we hope to provide an opportunity for the local venture industry, which is facing difficulties due to the US-China trade dispute and the Korea-Japan trade conflict, to make a leap forward once again."
