On the 24th, three startup companies in the province secured KRW 145 million in investment at the '2019 Korea Startup Tech Show' held at the Changwon Convention Center.


At the 'Yongsan University Pitching Day' event, which was organized by WISEU's Early Startup Package Business Unit (Director Yeo Seok-ho), three companies, Inje Angel Club (Club President Lee Moon-ki), JD Engineering (CEO Park Joong-gun), Estee Consulting (CEO Kim Dong-geun), and K Beauty Cosmetics (CEO Jang Tae-hwa), signed an investment agreement.


These companies are all promising startups participating in Yeongsan University's Early Startup Package Program, and the amount of investment received this time is 50 million won and 45 million won, respectively, totaling 145 million won. Yeongsan University fosters about 20 startup companies every year with a total of 2.8 billion won in early startup package project costs, including matching investment from Gyeongnam Province and national funds. At the 'Yeongsan University Pitching Day', WiseU incubated startups held a corporate presentation for excellent venture capitalists in the Seoul metropolitan area. Six companies participated, including Hamchorok, JD Engineering, Zintech, Toriarti, Hwaeinyeoulnuri, and Intrax.


"WiseU's pivotal participation in the largest startup festival in Gyeongnam served as a hub for startup support in the Southeast region," said Seokho Yeo, head of the business unit. "WiseU will continue to do its best to grow excellent startups in new industries and create employment in the region."
