[JINJU=Newsis] Selected as 6 outstanding companies in Jinju Special Economic Zone 



[Jinju=Newsis] Reporter Jung Kyung-gyu = Gyeongnam Jinju Special Zone Support Center of Gyeongsangnam-do National University in Jinju, Gyeongnam, held a final evaluation meeting to evaluate the performance of individual tasks of the '2022 Jinju Special Zone Regional Specialization Fostering Project' at the Aerospace Industry Cooperation Center on the Gajwa Campus and selected six excellent companies on the 20th.


The '2022 JinJu Gangso Special Zone Regional Specialization Fostering Project' aims to promote technological growth and business promotion for companies in specialized and linked fields, including companies in the Jiangsu Special Zone and regional specialized companies.



The center selected six excellent companies by comprehensively evaluating the achievement of the final goal, the research process, and the utilization and dissemination of the results for a total of 21 beneficiary companies.


The selected outstanding companies are ▲BJSilk (development of domestic materials for economy-class seat covers for flame-retardant functional and sensitive civilian aircraft based on natural and recycled synthetic composite materials) ▲Jun Engineering (development of a electric outfitting work management system utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) for small and medium-sized shipbuilding) ▲JD (development of a prototype floating station for wireless charging of drones) ▲BixSpringTree (advancement of core skill content for enhancing medical personnel capabilities) ▲Korea Props- Inc. Ltd. (development of composite blade manufacturing process technology to improve productivity), and Korea Aerospace Industries Promotion Association (development of repair technology for cargo PDU rollers for aircraft).


Moon Yong-ho, head of the Gyeongnam Jinju Gangso Special Economic Zone Support Center, said, "We will continue to collaborate with joint R&D institutions to transfer technology and create best practices for research institute companies."
